Elizabeth Falkner

Elizabeth Falkner obtained her degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in the hopes of pursuing a career in film. She changed her mind dramatically after she began working in the food industry, eventually opening her own dessert restaurant, San Francisco’s legendary Citizen Cake. She went on to open a second restaurant, Orson, before relocating to New York City in 2013. Elizabeth has been featured in numerous publications such as Food & Wine and Gourmet; was the runner-up on “Next Iron Chef” and competed on “Next Iron Chef: Redemption” and “Top Chef Masters;” and is a regular judge on Cooking Channel’s “Donut Showdown.” She’s authored two cookbooks: Cooking Off the Clock: Recipes from My Downtime and Demolition Desserts.
